Integration Options

Concourse has been successfully integrated with a number of commercial, open source, and homegrown solutions, including portals, student and learning systems, and authentication servers. Depending upon the needs of your campus you may have run Concourse from stand-alone to fully integrated.

The three available integration points for Concourse are:

  • Student Information Systems: Populates information related to user accounts, course data, registrations, and syllabus content. Through the use of feed processing, solutions covered include Datatal, Banner, Jenzabar, and other ERP providers.
  • Learning Management Systems: Embeds a syllabus within the learning environment for direct access by instructors and students. This is done through the use of the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard with systems like Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Moodle, and more.
  • Central Authentication Systems: Allows users to log on with their campus credentials or directly through the use of a campus portal or other single sign-on (SSO) platforms. While other authentication methods have been available in the past, SSO is the preferred option going forward.
