How long does it take to get Concourse up and running?
This is very much a question of the complexity of your implementation in terms of scope, degree of integration, and template requirements, each of which are bound by your available resources.
From the Intellidemia side, we can have a dedicated installation running for you in less than a day. From there, we set a number of configuration options, such as entering your listing of departments. You will then choose integration options, if desired.
Next up comes the designing of templates. This is where one can go from a few hours to set up a simple institutional template (or use no template at all) to weeks of faculty senate meetings to decide upon whether the syllabus should say "Outcomes" vs "Learning Outcomes." Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot the Syllabus Geeks can do to help with this white elephant, except that we strongly encourage the used of the K-I-S-S principle (Keep it simple).
Finally comes the task of populating data, assigning administrative roles, training, and launching the solution.
In short, most pilot deployments are ready to go within a month. Our long-term implementations typically take between 3-6 months for a fully functional, integrated, and tiered template Concourse installation.
