Is There a Single Syllabus for Every Course Section?
This depends on how many sections were entered when the course was first created. For simplicity, many administrators will choose to create one syllabus per course section, though it is also possible to merge together a number of course sections onto a single syllabus combining common and section-specific content.
*Note: If multi-sections are available for a given syllabus, visiting the view syllabus page will default to showing you (i.e. filtering) content only for the section(s) you are registered for. You can change this by clicking the Change View tab on the left side of the screen and setting a new mix of sections. The edit syllabus page will always show the content for every section together in aggregate.
